Oh, Nanna

This is an E-mail I got from my Nanna this morning in response to my last blog and blog comments between Joe and I. Nanna, you just started my day off with a big laugh. I love you!

Ok, so I don't know how to post a comment...... but this is is what I wrote.....and couldn't quite figure out what to do without an account. I'm just an old foggie!

Good morning my absolutely lovely grand daughter....this is your Nanna...not your grandmother. I don't leave comments because I am a private person. I don't put my personal, private life out there for all to see. Did that once ....wasn't a pretty picture. It's nobody's business if I kiss my husband in public or private. It's not anyone's business if I wake up one morning not feeling quite so well. (and you know what I mean) I am from the old school.....I like it that way. God never changes. He was the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Nanna's pretty much that way. Yesterday (the past) I was lost, today I am saved by the grace and blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ and tomorrow (the future) I will one day see my Jesus and although it won't matter, I'll probably ask Him why you felt it necessary to put that extra hole in your ear and what you get out of rap music! :-)

Now for Joseph....Does all your friends and famliy think I'm a raging crazy calvinist? ....can't speak for the rest of the family and friends...... But from my point of view the answer to that is an unequivocal (absolute; unqualified; not subject to conditions or exceptions) YES. Bless your little ole heart! That's what we country folk people say when we think you have it all wrong and just don't know any better. :-)

Kristi, would you now like me to post my comments or would you like a private email? :-) Love you Krisit and that's something I'll post anytime, anywhere. Unequivocal.

p.s. please take this post in the spirit in which it was written. With a smile on your face and a song in your heart.

It's a great day!

Hello Miss Kristi's Grandma. You were emphatic in your answer! Good stuff.

I hate to say this, but it seems that I shall further 'corrupt' your granddaughter with rap music suggestions.

Though I am considered crazy b/c of certain beliefs, I would like to state that my music taste are both impeccable and eclectic (I chose that word cause it sounds so cool), and I of course humbly submit that too you. ;)

Trip Lee, Lecrae, Json, Flame, Timothy Brindle, Shai Linne, Sho Baraka are some of my favorites.

The two major labels that I really like are Lampmode and Reach Records. Very strong.

Kristi likes rap? Who knew.

Hahaha uh YEAHHH Kristi likes rap!

Lecrae and Trip Lee ALL the way!
:)

Flame's pretty good.

But Lecrae is mainly all I listen to as far as rap is concerned.

w00t! w00t! I try to play rap at work but Ms. Janice isn't a big fan, so we work the old school hymns, which is fine cause they're pretty amazing. Lecrae has a cd coming out at the end of Sept. I believe, it's called "Rebel."

Sounds good from what I've heard.

w00t!

I just got an email from Joel informing me you're willing to work on the paper. Thank you.

I will find a way to return the favor. One day. :)

Maybe through miss Janice.
